Airbus A350 for Singapore Airlines
The A350-900 has quickly established itself as a key aircraft type within Singapore Airlines’ diverse fleet. The carrier placed its first order for this type in 2006 and has since placed three more orders for A350 aircraft. Indeed, the airline increased the total number of confirmed aircraft orders to 70 in 2013 – a figure which was later revised to 67. This includes seven versions with Ultra Long Range capability, officially identified as the A350- 900ULR. The airline currently operates 55 Airbus A350s.
Singapore Airlines has chosen three variants of the A350.
Singapore Airlines’ diverse fleet includes Airbus A330 and A380, Boeing 737 (SilkAir), 777, 787 and Boeing 747-400F.
