easyJet Switzerland will add five A320neos to 4T21

easyJet Switzerland (DS, Geneva) has announced that it will take delivery of its first five A320-200Ns in the fourth quarter of 2021. While the aircraft will be based at the two LCC bases, Geneva and Basel / Mulhouse / Friborg, CH, the carrier did not provide a breakdown of their allocation.

Currently, easyJet’s Swiss unit (U2, London Luton) operates five A319-100s and twenty-two A320-200s, the advanced ch-aviation fleets module shows. easyJet Europe (CE, Vienna), the group’s Austrian technical subsidiary, operates four A321-200NX in parallel with 115 A320ceo family aircraft, while easyJet UK (U2, London Luton) has thirty-seven A320-200N and ten A321 -200NX in its fleet, alongside 133 aircraft of the A320ceo family. The group’s parent company no longer operates any aircraft directly.

flybe. (BE, Exeter) is moving towards its relaunch under a new owner and a certificate issued to shell company Thyme Opco, having secured slots for national services from London Heathrow.

According to one opinion, flybe. secured slots from British Airways for services to Aberdeen Dyce (up to 3 times per day) and Edinburgh (up to 4 times per week), April 28, 2021 until end of season Summer 2021 on October 30, 2021. Eurowings plans more bases outside DACH countries

Preparing for pan-European expansion, Eurowings (EW, Düsseldorf Int’l) is in talks with numerous airports and local authorities over plans for several potential bases outside of its main German-speaking markets, CEO Jens Bischof said at the meeting. ‘a CAPA webinar.
