Lufthansa to reopen first-class lounge in Frankfurt
In response to the increase in the number of bookings, Lufthansa is taking this opportunity to reopen the Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Terminal 1 at Frankfurt Airport from June 1.
Takeaway meals and drinks
The First Class lounge in Terminal 1 is open every day from 6:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The consumption of food and drink is only permitted outside the lounge. A take-out offer is available in the First Class lounge.
Lufthansa mentioned that the popular “à la carte” service will also resume as soon as official regulations allow.
Reopening of the first class terminal
Lufthansa’s press release mentions that their first-class terminal and associated limousine service will also be available again, but no firm date has been given by Lufthansa.
My visit to the Senator Lounge
I traveled on Lufthansa in July 2020 and used the Senator Lounge as the First Class Lounge was closed during transit in Frankfurt. The lounge served a selection of food and drink, including sandwiches, chicken cutlets, and soup. The shower is also open. You can find details in the trip report below:
