Lufthansa inaugurates Dubai – Munich route
Dubai: At 6:40 a.m. on Saturday, Lufthansa flight LH638 arrived at Dubai International Airport, inaugurating the airline’s new connection between Munich and Dubai.
Return flight LH639 will depart Dubai three times a week at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Munich at 12:50 p.m. the same day (local times).
The new route is operated by an Airbus A350-900, which is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly aircraft in the world, underscoring the airline’s commitment to sustainability.

With the introduction of this new connection, we have doubled our capacity on routes to the United Arab Emirates compared to pre-crisis levels, âsaid Serkan Guerguen, Senior Director of Sales MENAT Lufthansa Group Airlines.
This new Lufthansa connection to Dubai will complement the existing daily flights to Frankfurt as well as the daily SWISS flights from Dubai to Zurich in winter. Munich is an important Lufthansa hub offering a wide choice of connections.

Lufthansa offers special introductory fares for tickets from Dubai to Europe. Customers can book special round-trip tickets until October 20 for travel dates between October 06, 2021 and March 25, 2022. Promotional prices will start from Dh 1,715 in economy class, Dh 2,975 in Premium Economy and 7 Dh, 375 in Business Class and can be booked through any travel agency, on Lufthansa.com or on SWISS.com.
