Lufthansa Group and Amadeus extend their partnership

SINGAPORE, September 15, 2022: Lufthansa Group and Amadeus are extending their partnership to further modernize travel distribution and retail.

NDC content from Lufthansa Group airlines will be available via the Amadeus NDC interfaces – Amadeus Selling Platform Connect, Amadeus Travel API and Cytric Travel & Expense.

This includes NDC offers from Lufthansa, SWISS, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines, Air Dolomiti and Eurowings Discover, including continuous pricing and a wide range of ancillary services. Beyond the NDC offers, travel sellers will continue to access content from Lufthansa Group airlines via existing EDIFACT technology.

Lufthansa Group and Amadeus are working on integrating the airline NDC offer into the Amadeus travel platform, aiming for a gradual global roll-out from the fourth quarter of 2022, starting in selected European markets, and thereby enabling purchases, booking, payment and service in a solution fully integrated into the Amadeus ecosystem. Over the following months, the range of content and features will be continuously expanded.
