It’s still Sunday, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.

This week we have a Lufthansa Boeing 747-8i tax at Chicago O’Hare International Airport in classic blue, yellow and white after completing the transatlantic voyage of Frankfurt Airport.

Lufthansa operates a fleet of 19 Boeing 747-8i in its long-haul operation. The airline also operates the Airbus A330-200, Airbus A330-300, Airbus A340-300, Airbus A340-600, Airbus A350-900 and Boeing 747-400.

The airline will soon receive the Boeing 787-9 in its fleet, followed by the Boeing 777X. Additionally, the airline will bring back the Airbus A380 for its summer 2023 season,

This aircraft – D-ABYG – joined the Lufthansa fleet in March 2013. It has remained in the Lufthansa fleet ever since. He recently operated from his base in Frankfurt to Miami, Washington Dulles and San Francisco.
